I have written this poem for my little Tejus.He stays with his NaniMa and from his absence stems this pain of separation and the need to put it in words.
You are special and you are a miracle
The stars in your doe-like eyes always seem to twinkle
There is a miracle in your unadulterated laughter and beautiful smile
Your pristine nature can bring compassion and even melt the vile
The melody of your chuckles resound within the depths of my mind
You have filled my loneliness with your presence benign
Is that a whiff of fresh air or is it your fragrance
I live life again as I breathe in the aura of your presence
There is a Miracle in the Love and happiness that you impart
Your infectious charm leaves its footprints on many a heart
On you my little miracle I shower all my blessings
With you by my side I can fight the worldly trappings
All my love and praises are only for you
You are a Miracle because there can never be another you
