I wrote this poem while on my way to US.I came via tokyo so there was nothing much to see except the giant Pacific. I gave the Ocean my Emptiness and in return it gave me its Strength.
Flying high amidst the winds
These cotton balls are palatial in stature
As I strive to regain my sanity
The colossal Pacific catches my fancy
The mighty Pacific and the Oh So Beautiful Pacific
Sometimes ruthless and Bohemian and yet so chic
The flights of fancy have changed my composure
I feel so humble before these Forces of Nature
A jewel in precious crowns in God's ornate
Such is the Pacific's esteemed state
Neatly laid out beauty on its surface
The clouds are but its frothy furnace
Lush greens and the frothy waves
Reds of the soil and the men suave
A riot of colors like an artist's palette
This is the glimpse of Pacific the great
